How to transfer stocks, bonds, and securities:
A: If you personally possess the security certificates that you wish to transfer:
Submit your certificates by mail:
- Do not endorse the certificates.
- Obtain a stock power (releasing your authority) from a broker. IMPORTANT: You must obtain a signature guarantee from a bank officer or brokerage firm on the instruction letter and stock power/certificate.
- Mail the unendorsed certificates to CLI (5755 Poplar Hall Drive, Norfolk VA 23502).
- In a separate envelope, mail the signed stock power(s), omitting Calvary Leadership Institute's name.
OR
Submit your certificates in person:
- Do not endorse the certificates.
- Obtain a stock power (releasing your authority) from a broker. IMPORTANT: You must obtain a signature guarantee from a bank officer or brokerage firm on the instruction letter and stock power/certificate.
- Bring both the certificates and signed stock powers, with the signature guaranteed, to Calvary Leadership Institute in person. (5755 Poplar Hall Drive, Norfolk VA 23502).
B: If the security certificates are being held by a broker:
Write to your broker directing them to transfer the securities to the account for Calvary Leadership Institute. Supply them with our Tax ID number (02-0792929). Then notify the Business Office at CLI of your actions (757.321.7717). If the security is a mutual fund, please instruct the broker to directly contact the business office at Calvary Leadership Institute to set up an account.
